Job Abstract

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer interactions. Prepares weekly work schedule for department to ensure adequate service coverage while adhering to weekly sales and payroll budgets. Responsible for inventory control through proper ordering, pricing, dating, and stocking. Trains, assists, and supervises department associates on job duties, policies, procedures and standards. Evaluates work performance of department associates and recommends personnel actions to store management. Ensures department and storage areas remain organized according to “5S” standards. The ideal candidate must possess: Prior experience as a department backup or lead. Recommendation from current Store Director. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables as they arise. Ability to do addition, subtraction, counting, and recording. Ability to handle refrigerated and frozen levels of temperature when retrieving product from the coolers or freezer. Able to work varying shifts and times, including nights, weekends and holidays.
