Job Abstract

The Traffic Technician/Analyst selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in reviewing traffic studies and design documents that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for an individual that has 5+ years of experience in municipal traffic projects and studies to work hybrid (onsite and remote) and part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) in the Jurupa Valley area.

As a Senior Traffic Technician/Analyst, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Research traffic data collection, analyzes statistical data, assesses trends and needs, drafts technical and analytical reports.
• Review traffic environmental reviews for small projects.
• Respond to complaints and requests from the public regarding traffic related issues, and effectively communicate the resolution of these complaints.
• Review proposals; interpret City policies, local, state, and federal laws and/or regulations.
• Review plans as they relate to traffic-related improvements.
• Coordinate with the City’s traffic signal maintenance consultant; reviews invoices; provide guidance regarding equipment damage.
• Review traffic neighborhood calming studies.
