We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Diagnostics and Device Management Specialist to join the team!

?Responsibilities:

• Interfacing with ServiceNow: Ticket System and hardware inventory
• Software Installation and Upgradation
• Maintenance and Upkeep of Conference Rooms
• Troubleshooting of Devices
• Ensure Compliance with NASA standards
• Produce required documentation and reports for management
• Support on-going Engineering IT needs
• Perform other duties as required

Requisition Qualifications:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a related area or experience in the field
• Administrative knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server, Active Directory
• Demonstrated experience installing patches, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining computers.
• Hands-on experience with server upgrades, patch management, and server transitioning
• Proficiency in creating scripts or programs to automate tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational skills

Requisition Preferences:

• Associate or bachelor's degree with experience working with computers
• Familiarity with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
