We provide facility and preventative maintenance services to aviation, government, and commercial facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to our dynamic Newark, New Jersey team.
Scope of Work:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading electrical projects, ensuring that installations and repairs are carried out to code, and providing guidance and supervision to junior electricians.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish according to specifications and code.
Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget.
Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on electrical projects.
Requirements
Proven 10 years of experience as a Master Electrician.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all applicable codes and standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments and heights.
Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria.
Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Compensation: $60.00 per hour, medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k.
