Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as assistant to Dean of Student Care: attending and taking minutes for meetings; managing the Dean’s calendar; maintaining a professional environment in the office through the use of effective telephone skills.
Assist in general office administrative procedures and processes including but not limited to: tracking administrative deadlines and schedules; maintaining financial records in Workday, assistance in purchasing, room reservations, logistics.
Provide administrative support and follow-up for the early intervention group: Student Care Team and all related meetings (committee, student/parent meetings, collaboration and coordination of care).
Assists with Student Care case management in providing referrals, coordination and communication with partners, follow-up, and maintaining of thorough, accurate, and timely records.
Provide administrative support and follow-up for Basic Needs resources, including but not limited to Swipe Out Hunger, basic needs pantry, housing, and community resources.
Maintain records for communication between other departments regarding planning and scheduling. Attend and take minutes at appropriate meetings.
Serve as a high level administrator for the software system(s) used for Student Care, Stepped Care Model, case management, and reporting purposes requiring appropriate handling of high risk and confidential information.
Assist in creating, curating, and maintaining up-to-date resource library and community referral/resource information.
Assist in creating and maintaining information regarding Student Care on the University web pages.
Produce and deploy evaluation and assessment surveys. Provide survey reports as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Periodically, this position may be asked to lead or contribute to either ad hoc or ongoing division/campus projects outside the scope of their day-to-day activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred

Strong writing and editing skills are required, including an ability to compose correspondence using correct English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, format and accurate proofreading.
Provides responsible administrative/ clerical experience.
Computer skills: Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite.
Self-starter with strong organizational and motivational skills. Ability to establish a receptive office atmosphere for students, staff, faculty and families who may come in contact with the office.
Ability to maintain good relations between students, parents, and other departments of the University and within the Student Care Office.
Must enjoy working in a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting for extended periods of time. Use of computer equipment: computer keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Vision to read documents, email and other correspondence, and reports on paper and computer monitor. Hearing and speaking to communicate effectively with others in person and by phone. Will also stand, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 10 lbs throughout the day.
