Job Abstract

The controls engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control BHE Renewable’s solar and battery units plant logic, SCADA and control systems, and engineering systems. Makes sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely. Controls engineer needs a thorough understanding of the operational processes and demonstrates familiarity with instrumentation, telecommunications, metrological and solar arrays, programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interface (HMI) programming of control systems within the solar and battery power plants. Maintains compliance with all company and regulatory compliance requirements. Directs, coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of electrical engineering projects of moderate size and complexity (approximately $5,000,000).
