EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst – System Modeling

in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read, understand, transform, and extract data directly from databases (Oracle Database, NOSQL/MongoDB, Google BigQuery, etc.), to design and implement complete and complex data models and analysis in Tableau, Google Data Studio, and/or SAP Web Intelligence, which allow measuring the performances of complex telecommunication systems and assist in devising feedback control to improve the system efficiency.
• Use data analytics and/or data engineering skills to build the business and operational metrics needed to ensure company products and services work effectively within given customer parameters and constraints.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in data analytics or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in data analytics.
• Experience must include 6 months in design and development in each of the following: Oracle database; SQL; Google BigQuery; Tableau; Google Data Studio; SAP Web Intelligence; and Salesforce.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
