Sealed Air is seeking a driven, manufacturing professional to fulfill our current opening, VSL/Value Stream Leader, located in Streetsboro, OH. This position will be in a fast-paced environment offering daily support to our manufacturing groups.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Direct management and overall team leadership of an Operations group in a Performance Management System (PMS) setting.
• Responsible for a zero harm culture and processes, tools and behaviors that drive to zero accidents.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to Performance Leaders (GPL and TPL's) on each shift.
• Provides guidance in the analysis and scheduling of work and deployment of resources.
• Collect and analyze data to report on plant effectiveness.
• Increase revenue by meeting customer demands with zero issues.
• Oversees and ensures standards for product quality, equipment and operator performance are maintained and equipment and technology are utilized in the most cost-efficient manner.
• Promotes safety, quality, scrap reduction and production efficiency initiatives throughout production process.
• Promotes employee adherence to standard operating procedures through the process of both accountability and recognition.
• Troubleshoots complex production and quality problems.
• Collaborates and coordinates activities with engineering, plant management, quality and other plant colleagues to address production problems and ensure materials meet quality standards.
• Promotes root cause analysis.
• Leads the development of department budget plans and continuous review of performance vs the key process indicators (KPIs).
• Communicates KPI targets and results on a routine basis.
• Maintain and document clear and detailed records/approvals of all employee work times, showing clear and consistent adherence to company policies.
• Develops and leads the implementation of operational initiatives in support of PMS (e.g., department utilization improvement, process capability enhancement, customer satisfaction, employee involvement).
• Leadership development through talent review, experiential opportunities and talent programs.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing work experience with 2 years in a leadership role
• Green Belt Certification preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Able to work both independently and within a team, generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively apply MS Excel and other analysis tools to real-world problem-solving.
• Must be flexible, innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities.
• Polished presentation, business acumen and facilitation skills.
• Good understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with high volume operations.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Change Agent experience.
