TITLE: DISTRICT COURRIER (Part Time, Hourly)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a High School Diploma.
Ability to speak, read, write and follow written and oral instructions.
Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license, with an acceptable driver abstract report.
Qualified to be a bonded messenger.
Required criminal history.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all messenger functions and sorts, routes and transports all interschool mail and parcels using a district vehicle.
Performs bonded messenger duties of transporting cafeteria deposits and other financial deposits to local banks and gives a receipt for all cash bags picked up.
Performs all special messenger and delivery assignments as authorized.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Business Administrator.
REPORTS TO: Business Administrator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months (2 hours per day), Minimum Wage
ANNUAL EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with NJ State law/AchieveNJ and the provisions of the board’s policy on evaluations.
