Kelly Services is partnering with a Customer in Kent, OH and we have openings for CNC Operators!

Wage: $17.00 – 24.00/hr based on experience
+$1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift

Schedule: 1^st Shift 6am – 4pm | 2nd Shift 4pm – 2am | Monday – Thursday

Location: Kent, Ohio

Job Description: The CNC Machine Operator will produce high quality, precision tooling used in the Customer’s family of products. They will use
the necessary machine shop equipment in the production of this tooling in a safe and productive manner. Will work in a team-oriented environment with individual responsibilities in specific machining process

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints.
  

• Perform basic set-ups and operate machine shop equipment as designated by the machine shop supervisor
  

• Use the most effective and efficient methods to operate each machine.
  

• Set the correct machining parameters for the use of each cutting tool.
  

• Dimensionally and visually inspect the product to assure the product meets all print and customer requirements.
  

• Enter data in a data base.
  

• Other tasks as assigned by manager.
  

• The incumbent considers all interests of quality, accident prevention and occupational safety as well as environmental safety in a preventive manner within their scope of responsibility and supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material and environment actively.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
  

• Prior CNC Operator experience (preferred)
  

• Excellent communication verbal and written
  

• Highly organized
