Account Marketing Specialist
Arlington VA, USA (Hybrid)
This position is currently open to candidates who currently reside in North America.
Position Summary
Thales USA is seeking a dynamic Marketing Analyst to support the development and execution of marketing activities aligned with the NORAM’s business objectives. This role will support collaborative marketing activities across all Thales business entities in North America and will include a range of marketing disciplines, from integrated campaigns to digital marketing, account engagement plans, content creation, and market intelligence.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Report directly to the Regional Marketing Director while working closely with NORAM entities and Business Lines across Civil and Defense sectors.
- Deliver insights to Business Lines regarding local market dynamics, competitive landscapes, opportunities, and customer expectations to enhance pipeline growth. Contribute to the development of market participation strategies, product prioritization, and marketing plans.
- Support Account Teams in shaping and activating account-focused engagement plans. Support the development of personalized, integrated value propositions and value-based content. Leverage segment-specific marketing assets and campaigns, including via close coordination with GBU- and BL-based marketing teams.
- Where practicable, contribute to research and analysis, leveraging market data to gain insights into customer behaviors and triggers for effective engagement.
- Support content development plans aligned with campaign objectives and customer engagement strategies to support SAM/KAM sales teams.
- Take ownership of content creation supporting marketing and sales efforts, including (for example) white papers, blogs, videos, webinars, and digital experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience / Master’s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Robust B2B marketing experience and skills, particularly in marketing strategy, planning, and campaign development.
- Familiarity with as many as possible Thales markets, including in both Defense and Civil sectors, such as:
a. Defense electronics, incl. sensors & systems
b. Space systems
c. Digital identity & security, incl. biometrics, cyber, and connectivity
d. Aerospace, incl. civil & military avionics
- Strong listening and communication skills and a collaborative attitude. Exhibit creativity, dynamism, and autonomy.
- Strong synthesis and analytical abilities. Proficient in Power Point and Excel.
- Travel required up to 25% annually.
Special Position Requirements
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
- Travel: Anticipated travel estimated at as much as 25% annually.
