skilled in facilitating effective communication strategies and tactics that inform, engage and inspire
employees, and provide alignment with company strategy and culture. The role requires a blend of
exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking and the ability to partner cross-
functionally and across all levels of the organization. It also demands an ability to regularly assess
communication campaign performance and make recommendations to better meet organizational and
employee needs. The ideal candidate will be capable of serving as a strategic advisor while also driving
day-to-day communications support as part of a dynamic communications team.
How You will Make an Impact
? Communication Strategies: Craft and execute targeted internal communication strategies to
ensure timely, accurate information using the most effective channels based on organizational
needs and employee preferences.
? Content Creation: Write, edit and manage compelling original content, such as internal web and
mobile content, email, scripts and presentations, that provides context, clarity and alignment
with organizational goals and priorities.
? Employee Engagement: Engage employees through creative storytelling (written and visual) to
strengthen employees’ understanding of company vision and values, fostering connection and
purpose. Support employee engagement initiatives that enhance the work environment and
boost engagement.
? Strategic Advisor: Collaborate with HR, IT and other departments to ensure cohesive and
integrated communication strategies, providing strategic input on messaging and positioning
that shapes expectations and drives action.
? Change Management: Effectively communicate organizational changes to facilitate employee
awareness and adoption, maintaining transparency to build trust and minimize resistance.
? Measuring Effectiveness: Work with the Communications Channel Manager to regularly assess
the effectiveness of internal communications using key performance metrics, adjusting
strategies to better meet employee and organizational needs. Use feedback mechanisms, like
surveys and feedback forms, to measure communication effectiveness and identify areas for
improvement.
? Training and Development: Assist in providing training and guidance to leaders and
communications partners on effective communication practices.
? Events: Support company-wide meetings, such as quarterly All Teammate Webinars.
? Collaborate: With the entire Corporate Communications team to identify and support efforts
that enhance the team’s strength (e.g., shared editorial opportunities, new and better ways to
streamline work processes).
? Assist with special initiatives and projects as required.
How You Will Catch Our Eye
? Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related discipline
? Minimum 7-10 years of relevant communications experience
? Keen understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful internal communication
strategies and campaigns
? Demonstrated ability to create compelling content that engages, educates and moves
employees to action
? Excels at boiling down complex concepts for all to understand
? Effectively presents and facilitates discussions
? Skilled at building trusted relationships with team and multidisciplinary partners at all levels
across the company
? Quickly and calmly resolves issues and builds internal alignment
? Effective, independent decision-making ability
? Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment to ensure timely
completion
? Some experience in graphic design, layout and video editing desired
? AP Style proficiency preferred
