Summary:
Provide technical direction and support for test procedures, processes and equipment for new and existing products. This includes development of new test setups, automation, software and modernization of processes. Must be able to confer with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Test team and Quality to ensure product quality and success.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting production test teams in successfully validating test setups and conducting required testing on all products
- Provides technical assistance and liaison to Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and other organizations and assists in implementing new techniques and procedures
- Exhibits ability to gather input from production personnel, and encourage a spirit of teamwork, through listening and team implementation of process improvements on the production floor
- Analyzes and recommends process changes for ease of production test personnel, cost reduction and quality improvement
- Sets-up and maintains equipment for an operational Engineering development lab
- Assist in development of new circuit and PCB designs as needed
- Performs in-process testing on low quantity sales samples and Engineering models
- Writes Acceptance Test Procedures, Qualification test procedures and Final reports
- Supports supervising or supporting tests performed by external laboratories
- Supports test technicians as part of the engineering support role by providing them with the theoretical basis for measurement techniques, test equipment operation, test equipment calibration, circuit theory and trouble shooting
- Provides technicians with components and dedicated equipment to support their role in quality assurance testing and provide data analysis as needed
- Exercises project management skills to insure proper execution and timely completion of assigned projects
- Support technical discussions, spec reviews and/or tollgates with both internal and external customers

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent education/experience
- Knows the basics of electrical engineering and the working theory and physics of components like resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, MOSFETS, amplifiers, etc.
- Knows the basic concepts and theory of RF and RF components like switches, amplifiers, power dividers/combiners, couplers, attenuators, amplifiers, Insertion loss, return loss, VSWR, inter modulation, compression, and etc.
- Knows how to use test equipment like Vector Network analyzers, Spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscopes, DMM, DAQs
- Knowledge of LabView or equivalent programming language
- Recommend 2 of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Test Engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Must have proficient PC skills relevant to the position (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Microsoft Project).
- Possess excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with Coworkers, Customers, and Suppliers.

Work Arrangement : Onsite
Salary Range : $100,000.00 - $140,000.00
