Software Integration Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced developer like you with the skills needed to take disparate software and systems from a vision to a production ready reality.
This role is more than just coding. As a developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:
5+ years of experience with containerizing apps using Docker
Experience with container networking and orchestration using Docker, Docker Compose, or Kubernetes
Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development
Experience with Linux operating systems and using the command line interface on Linux systems
Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Experience with Agile development or Scrum
Ability to configure and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience working in a SCIF
Experience with bare metal clusters in air gapped environments
Experience with Open Systems Architecture design principles
Experience with automated testing and DevSecOps technologies
Experience with CI/CD technologies, including Jenkins, and Git pipelines
Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor and operate data platforms
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
