We are seeking experienced a Travel Lift Operator to join our team in Stamford, CT.
Job Description:
Operate the marina forklifts
Daily inspection on all marina equipment
Launch and haul customer boats
Load and unload new boats from transport trailers
Load and adjust boat trailers and move boats to and from launch are
Aware and capable of preventing hazardous situations before they become critical
Always maintains a professional and positive demeanor on the premises
Self-motivated and vigilant with attention to detail in handling equipment, boats, and assisting customers
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
Requirements
Must pass forklift training and be qualified within 90 days of hire.
Strong marine background that includes experience with guests
Minimum of 3+ years of Marine Travel lift experience
Able to perform necessary maintenance functions to keep the marina equipment operable.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Able to haul and block boats
Operate hydraulic boat lift to move boats
Operate forklift and telehandler to haul, launch, move and store vessels
