Job Abstract

The City of Napa's Parks and Recreation Department is searching for a Recreation Coordinator that will focus on Summer Camps, Preschool Programs, and the oversight of the Las Flores Community Center. Candidates with bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly desirable as you will provide services to diverse members of the Napa community. The successful candidate will be asked to identify community needs and challenges by gathering quality information through discussion, networking, research and social media. We hope to gain insights which will lead to opportunities for increased engagement, outreach and program enrollment as well as contribute through providing programmatic solutions to achieve long term results (e.g. engagement, financial stability, social equity, and quality of living). Any background and knowledge in recreation services, program or event planning, or facility management are helpful to reach success in this role!
