Job Abstract

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Elementary/Junior High Music Teacher to join our staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the music industry or music education, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to inspire students to develop a lifelong love for music while preparing them for high school music programs. An understanding of Catholic liturgy and liturgical music is preferred.

? Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field
? Valid teaching certification/license preferred
? Previous experience teaching music to elementary/junior high students.
? Strong musical proficiency and knowledge of music theory, vocal techniques, and various musical instruments
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential in music
? Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
? Experience leading and planning liturgical music for Catholic masses is preferred

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
