Summary
Responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring the movement of materials and returns through the production cycle. The job is further responsible for timely planning inventory control of material as assigned, and performing the following duties under minimal supervision, independent decision making in company policy framework.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Release work orders and purchasing Requisitions in accordance with the Master Schedule and MRP to support the build plan and customer shipments.
Responsible for Planning, Ordering, Scheduling and Monitoring the Movement of Materials throughout the production cycle.
Work with Manufacturing staff to determine the progress of work and completion status, coordinate and resolve production related issues.
Maintain timely control of orders and shipping product to sustain on time delivery metrics.
Expedite operations/materials that delay schedules.
Report Production status updates on a weekly basis.
Review, revise and manage manufacturing lead-times.
Identify any changes in schedules that could impact the company’s ability to meet customer.

Perform inventory management to meet goals of the business.
Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, collaborating with management, sales, production or engineering.
Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Maintains timely control of orders.
Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 5-10 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills and Abilities
Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…)

Salary Range:
$74,800.00-$99,880.000
