RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards for produced products.
- Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks.
- Perform GMP and housekeeping audits.
- Train team members on food safety.
- Engage in varied work activities requiring judgment.
- Coordinate with others to achieve objectives.
- Supervise a small group of personnel performing similar tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment production of soups sauces or toppings preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP USDA GMP SSOP's.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries spreadsheets etc. SAP knowledge preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent communication skills verbal and written; bilingual a plus.
SUPERVISORY: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.
