PositionOverview:
The ProductionSupervisor oversees Coach and Light Rail manufacturing operations, focusing onsafety, quality, and productivity in paint application, gluing, and mechanicalassembly. They manage production schedules, allocate resources to maximizeoutput while ensuring quality standards are met. Additionally, they areresponsible for maintaining a safe work environment and implementingengineering changes efficiently.
What your daymay look like:
- DriveZero Harm @ Siemens by ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. Ensure allTeam Members are trained in, and observe, safe work practices.
- Supervisesafety, quality, and productivity in the application(s) of paint, gluing andmechanical assembly.
- Reviewsproduction schedules, planning, material, and manpower resources.
- Assignsemployees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, attain, andimprove output requirements.
- Supportthe design review effort for engineering changes and implement changes in themost efficient manner.
- Executethe respective Production Schedule and develop and implement recovery scheduleswhen appropriate.
- Monitorand maintain a safe work environment, including corrective actions to minimizesafety related incidents.
- Stronganalytical, communication and leadership skills.
What will make you successful in this position:
- Highschool diploma or GED
- 4 yearor more of Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Self-motivatedwith a results-driven approach
- Provenhands-on knowledge and throughout understanding of adhesive bonding processesapplicable to Floor station and Coach mechanical assembly.
- Provenhands-on knowledge and throughout understanding of Coating processes applicableto Light Rail, and Coaches
- Experiencein using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Problem-solvingskills
- Advancedskills in MS Office
- Organizationaland leadership abilities
- Communicationand interpersonal skills
- Ahistory of driving projects in a very dynamic low volume starts up productionenvironment.

This position islocated in Sacramento, CA. The base salary for this position is $96,800- $130,700.The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget andcandidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographiclocation.
