Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and interviewing applicants to obtain information on work history, education and job skills for open positions. This position will establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meets hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates.
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a candidate pipeline.
- Screens candidates by reviewing resumes, coordinates the interview process, and facilitates offers and employment negotiations.
- Serves as liaison with recruiting agencies and schools, and actively manages pipeline development with feeder schools and programs.
- Participates in career fairs as needed.
- Manages recruiting module and reporting data to hiring managers including posting and advertising for new job openings. Ensures positions posted are accurate.
- Assists applicants in the online process.
- Closes job positions and sends appreciation letters to candidates timely.
- Stays abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
- Manages student shadowing and rotation program by administering student shadowing and rotation documentation, serving as liaison to schools and colleges, and performing customer service functions by assisting with student requests and questions.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
- Maintains appropriate Human Resources standards. Follows Human Resources and the company policies and procedures.
- Participates in Department quality improvement activities, staff educational programs, and attends departmental meetings.
- Assists with Departmental projects or duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Minimum two years of HR experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
Other Skills and Abilities Ability to develop and implement office procedures; Excellent organizational skills
