The Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Reporting Analyst supports the development, design, implementation and testing of all reports within our Workday HCM platform. This role is responsible for all forms of data reporting, analytics, metrics and dashboards. This role will collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to ensure that Workday reports align with our HR technology strategy, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our HR systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develops advanced reports, including creating calculated fields and maintaining dashboards, to provide accurate data, analytics and insights to the HR team and the organization.
- Analyzes the impact of Workday's semi-annual updates and helps test and configure new functionality.
- Oversees the end-to-end request process for new reports and changes to existing ones; gathers and documents the requirement, prioritization, testing and delivery. Serves as the primary point of contact for Workday-related report inquiries and issues from team members and leaders.
- Maintains a master reporting catalog, with a complete understanding of which reports are available and which users can use.
- Regularly evaluates HCM data to ensure data accuracy and optimization of system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborates with HR to promote data governance to help improve data quality and insight.
- Ensures compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements related to Workday usage and data management.
- Provides daily functional support to HR Workday users in providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights and trends to assist with business decisions and address business questions.
- Stays current with Workday releases, trends, and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for reporting optimization.
- Assists with the quarterly user access audit as developed by IT.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience working with Workday HCM with hands-on experience in report writing, data analytics, merits/KPIs and dashboards.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Workday Pro Certification in Workday HCM and/or one other module is highly desirable.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
- Outstanding project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR data.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to provide timely follow-up and resolution on projects and tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position requires more than 80% computer use.
COMPENSATION
The current salary range for this position is $74,932.01 to $126,367.76. This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors unique to each candidate; including experience, education, and location of the role and considers employees performing substantially similar work.
