Position Summary
Guggenheim Partners Investment Management seeks a self-motivated individual to join our Private Fund Operations and SPV Onboarding team. Reporting to the Private Fund Operations Vice President, this is a role in a highly integrated and visible team responsible for coordinating all private fund operations and onboarding SPV accounts. The role presents a unique opportunity working across the organization to provide a centralized and cross-functional viewpoint. Part of one’s success will be cultivating relationships across internal business areas including but not limited to Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, Relationship Management, Compliance/Legal. The role requires clear and efficient communication externally as well, with clients and third-party service providers.
Central to this role are exceptional communication & listening skills with the ability to ask pointed and open-end questions necessary to provide the correct responses to the client. The ideal candidate will have an eagerness to learn and apply their knowledge; and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where it is important to prioritize and manage a multi-stream workload.
The position is located in our New York City office.
Essential Job Functions
Act as an important member of the private funds/special purpose vehicle transaction and client support team
Maintain fund documentation and on-line reporting on investor portals
Utilize Excel functions and formulas to analyze data; review and utilize administrator data to facilitate reporting to senior level management and assist client service with client requests
Process transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, etc.) and update supporting schedules
Monitor the team Outlook in-box with a strong attention to detail, respond to general inquiries and route requests to designated team member
Ensure the organization of investor documentation within shared team drives
Assist with projects that have a high level of strategic impact
Monitor monthly team calendars and time-lines to ensure deliverables are actioned timely and approvals are obtained
Liaise with various groups throughout the organization and externally including fund accounting, operations, compliance, legal, client reporting, client service, fund administrators, custodians, transfer agents, etc. where appropriate
Perform light analytics and data analysis
Understanding of AML/KYC requirements
Understand and have the ability to discuss governing documents of the Fund (PPM, LLC agreement, subscription documents, etc.)

Analytics and data analysis experience
Ability to assess risk and anticipate downstream impact associated with certain queries
Organized, detail oriented and extremely thorough while having the confidence and communication skills to ensure work processes are completed accurately and appropriately
Proactive and motivated individual who once provided direction, will take ownership in tasks
Team oriented individual with ability to work well with diverse groups
Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to perform assigned responsibilities needed to ensure success
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures in a push toward constant improvement
Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree
At least 2 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in client reporting, operations or fund accounting
Salary Details
Annual base salary between $110,000 and $115,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components.
Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days per week.
