What You Will Do:
- Manage a team of Quality Engineering professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement utilizing our CORE operating system.
- Oversee First Article Inspection Performance
- Work closely with internal customers to assure that all quality requirements are satisfied.
- Collaborate with Engineering & Operations to continuously improve processes.
- Track, maintain and act on feedback & metrics that indicate departmental & individual performance.
- Manage employee performance and morale.
- Corrective and Preventive leadership actions across the site, as appropriate.
- Communicate with site and Quality leadership regarding metrics and non-conformances.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration within a complex organizational structure.
- Proficien in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data analytics.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Deep knowledge of Quality principles and processes including MRB, Quality clinics, PFMEA, MPR, SPC, and AS9100.
- IPC-A-610 awareness
- AS9100 Lead Auditor
- Knowledge of business management systems: ERP / SAP configuration tools etc.
- AS9102 First Article Inspection knowledge / NETINSPEC

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
