The Faculty Staff Help Center is a free and confidential mental health clinic supporting Faculty, Staff and Post docs in a short term counseling model. We are looking for a Help Center Manager who is an experienced clinician in brief clinical work who also is an experienced people manager. This position will work under the Center Director and will be responsible for managing a large staff of MFT's, LCSW's and Psychologists. In addition to managing the staff, the position will include, a clinical caseload work and management of a number of programs currently run at the Center. The senior manager position also will be responsible for managing crisis support and giving talks around the University.
This is a 75% full-time equivalent, benefits-eligible position. This position will be hybrid at 2 days in the office per week as needed due to work flow and is on site at the Stanford campus.
JOB PURPOSE:

Manage programs including educational workshops and support group services for university employees.
CORE DUTIES*:
Manage all educational programs, workshops, and support services for the Stanford community.
Identify the needs of the community and provide recommendations to the Director for rollout.
Provide educational, informational, and training programs for employees to increase awareness of health and wellness issues; substance abuse issues; mental health; family, financial, and job-related stress; and conflict resolution.
Develop and market FSHC programs, or related services, to promote employee understanding and use of available resources.
Responsible for management of counseling staff, including hiring, and retaining staff, career coaching, professional development for direct reports and accountable for the performance of employees. Provide leadership for the Center in absence of the Director.
Manage the trainee program. Support the educational needs of trainees; provide oversight of training processes; and support center staff in their direct supervision of trainees.
Participate and promote ongoing professional development activities focused on excellence and culturally sensitive care.
Provide departmental, leadership, and team consultation on complex cases; consult with faculty, human resource managers, and supervisors regarding workplace behavioral issues and departmental stresses including assessment, referral, conflict resolution, education and facilitation of group discussions.
Respond to school/unit requests by providing direct, short-term services to diverse client populations and underrepresented groups across campus, problem assessment, referral, counseling and crisis intervention, follow-up, case management, and management consultation for a broad range of concerns.
Make referrals to appropriate resources and therapists in the community, and follow-up with clients as needed.
Maintain clinical records and case documentation; assist with internal operations and special projects as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Master's degree in social work or psychology or related field and five years relevant post licensure experience, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expertise in clinical skills in evaluation, crisis intervention, and case management.
Ability to be “On Call” as needed to support absence of Director and can assign “On Call” duties to professional staff.
Proven ability to interact with diverse constituencies.Demonstrated strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Excellent planning and organizational skills.Expertise in program development and implementation.
Demonstrated supervisory skills including conflict resolution.Modeling of the highest levels of integrity and ethical standards.
Proficiency with timely completion of case documentation and administrative tasks.
Demonstrated ability to provide highly responsive and supportive leadership of or supervision for center staff.
Certifications and Licenses:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapy license, or PhD psychotherapy licensure for California.
Licensed Psychologist commensurate with trainee licensing needs.

The expected pay range for this position is $82,000 - $96,000 per annum.
