We are seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in electrical or systems engineering and experience with high performance inertial sensors.


What will you be responsible for?
As an integral member of Epson’s Microdevices product management team, you will focus on product management in the U.S. and Canada, particularly within aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Your role will encompass business planning, forecasting, go-to-market activities, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Seiko Epson Corporation, to drive new initiatives, develop innovative products, and achieve business objectives. This position can be remote, or you can work a hybrid schedule out of Epson America's headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA.  


Key Responsibilities
Business Management
•    Lead the business planning and forecasting process with inputs from key cross-functional stakeholders
•    Coordinate with Seiko Epson Corporation to monitor key drivers in the inertial sensors business and recommend strategies for achieving business goals
•    Conduct and analyze market information to provide actionable insights


Product Management
•    Collaborate with Sales, Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service/Support, Logistics, SEC, and other groups to manage products throughout their lifecycle
•    Provide input into positioning and pricing of assigned products
•    Work with sales and logistics organizations to optimize product forecasts and midterm demand plans
•    Contribute to advertising and promotional tactics for assigned products
•    Manage the end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure timely product launches
•    Serve as the internal and external PR spokesperson for assigned products
•    Support the sales team in customer visits and presentations
•    Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking for assigned products


Relationship Management
•    Build strong relationships with peers, associated internal Epson teams, and Senior Managers to meet company goals and objectives
•    Maintain professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations
•    Establish credibility with key customers to promote the Epson brand and make product recommendations based on long-term roadmap alignment

Desired Skills and Experience
•    5+ years of product management or related business experience required
•    Strong market analysis, project management, marketing communications, and strategic planning skills
•    Demonstrated proficiency in solving complex problems while balancing multiple objectives
•    Ability to sell ideas through cohesive and creative presentations
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade across organizational lines inside and outside the company


Education
•    Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
•    MBA or equivalent education/experience is a plus


Travel
•    Up to 25% travel required

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $129,529 and $195,904. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
