Job Abstract

1. PURPOSE OF JOB:

Closely observe up to 10 patients simultaneously, under the direction of the Registered Nurse, utilizing remote audio and video monitoring technology to enhance patient safety.

2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Provide a safe environment for the patient through use of a secure audio-visual monitoring system while demonstrating dignity and respect for the patient.

2. Effectively communicate with patient care team members, patients and families with consideration for age-specific accommodations

3. Provides/assists with physical and emotional patient care needs under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

V. QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: High School Diploma or GED completion.

2. Experience: Varies according to department or position

3. Other Skills: Certified in HS or BLS CPR (unit requirement), excellent interpersonal and team building skills, must have strong verbal and written communication skills

4. Training time required once hired: Dependent upon candidate
