Job Description
The Assistant Vice President, Executive Business Management (AVP) will play a critical support role of all aspects of the Investment Services Executive Business Management team. The AVP will provide management support and will be responsible for engaging in all business management functions for daily execution and delivery. In addition, the AVP will serve as a program manager for numerous high-impact, high-visibility programs that impact the broader enterprise, beyond Investment Services.
This role will include strategic, operational, project and administrative responsibilities across the enterprise. The role will provide an opportunity to work across the organization to help drive results, support strategic initiatives, improve processes, foster collaboration and alignment, and achieve more efficient operational performance.
The AVP will be highly resourceful, self-motivated and possess strong communication, project management and analytical/ financial skills. The ideal candidate will have a combination of focus and adaptability and display an eagerness to collaborate on a wide variety of tasks. The individual will also possess a high level of personal and professional integrity and sound judgment. The AVP must possess strong organizational skills with astute attention to detail and have the ability to manage multiple workstreams or deliverables at once
Responsibilities :

Business Management

- Oversee diversity agenda for Investment Services through liaising with GIDE to identify key events and sponsorships to engage. Attend bi-weekly calls, record minutes and track action items
Leadership Offsite Strategic Management
- Develop program of leadership offsites throughout the calendar year and continuously curate agenda
- Collaborate and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders, including EC members, State Street leaders, and external speakers; manage collection of materials from stakeholders
- Liaise with CAVS, catering and other support as needed
- On-site support required for day-of activities
- Must have ability to work non-standard hours and pivot / be flexible as needed
- Must have organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables at once
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of three years professional experience, including in a large, global financial services firm
- Strong outcome-oriented mindset and ability to break down barriers to achieve strategic goals
- Experience with senior and executive management and/or board reporting, preferably in financial services
- Experience interfacing at a senior level with clients, service providers and regulators
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and work collaboratively with colleagues to drive operational goals
- Ability to think strategically, managing complexity, change and multiple priorities
- Strong team leadership, coaching, mentoring, communication and presentation skills
- Energy, enthusiasm and an obsession with achieving operational efficiency and excellence

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
