Job Summary: The Enterprise Planning and Performance Senior Manager will support Mattress Firm's strategic initiatives by leading and executing Program, Project, and Change management. This role is responsible for driving standardization and discipline across the enterprise to execute cross-functional, transformation initiatives effectively and efficiently to deliver on the strategic plan. The transformation agenda is Mattress Firm's strategic plan. This is a Houston based, hybrid role.
Essential Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, leveraging influence to ensure alignment and collaboration towards achieving business outcomes.
Designated individual will be responsible for corporate calendar management, this includes the collation of key executive sessions, including business cadence within the organization, deconflicting potential conflicts, and ensuring overall communications.
Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the executive team, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and objectives.
Aid in the proactive and dynamic management of cross-functional programs and projects, taking ownership of program scope, plan, coordination, delivery, identifying and mitigating risks, and driving issues to resolution.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve program and project management efficiency, effectiveness, and execution.
Analyze and report on program and project metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement and improve decision-making quality.
Serve as a liaison between the executive team and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication, alignment, and collaboration.
Provide coaching and mentoring on principles and best practices for program and project management to the cross-functional team to promote professional development and growth.
Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.
Execute team member performance improvement plans, progressively discipline and terminations when appropriate per Company policy.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field required
Master's Degree preferred
