We have an outstanding Contract position for aMulti-Axis NC Programmerto join a leading Company located in theBaltimore, MDsurrounding area.
In this role, you will be asked to create 3-axis programs for tooling and multi-axis CNC production Programs while supporting the first article process for complex Nacelles and Aerostructure components.
Responsibilities :
Create CNC G-CODE Programs for Multi-axis Milling centers and Robots that will be used to manufacture production aerospace components
Develop and implement improvements to new and existing processes and programs in the Machine Shop, Composite Shop, and assembly areas
Define and develop NC Documents to drive safe, efficient set-up and operation of Automated Equipment
Participate in meetings with other team members and hourly associates
Design, Model, and create drawings that will be used for tools, gauges, and shop aids
Ability to work in a team atmosphere to troubleshoot and maintain CNC machines and robotic systems
Knowledge of Composite cutting techniques
Daily use of CATIA V5 AMG with /CENIT PIK- FASTTRIM, FASTCURVE
Excellent teamwork and collaboration capabilities
Basic Hiring Criteria :
Minimum 5 years of experience with CATIA V5 AMG and Multi-axis programming on composite components
On-site at the Baltimore location; No remote available
GD&T
G and M-Code in-depth understanding for FANUC30i, SIEMENS 840D Experience with CENIT FASTTRIM/FASTCURVE is also preferred

Desired Qualifications :
6+ years' experience in Aerospace Machine Shop and Composites Manufacturing is preferred
Experience with CATIA Numerical Control AMG and CENIT, FASTTRIM, and FASTCURVE Programming
Robotic Programming experience
Holding fixture and Bonding fixture design and manufacturing
VERICUT CGTECH 9.1
Continuous Improvement (5S, TPM, Quick Change, Poke-Yoke, D.I.V.E. and VSM)
Ability to review and comment to make parts easier for the Machine process
