Job Description
As a Project Manager for Capital One’s Enterprise Payments Programs & Analytics team, you will achieve results by leading critical and strategic business projects. In this exciting role you will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver results that will have a direct impact on the company. You will work with smart, talented people who will challenge you to excel.
In this specific role, you will engage with payment related teams across the enterprise to drive sustainable, well-managed implementation of industry and enterprise-wide change. Through this work you will help Enterprise Payments reaffirm Capital One’s commitment to build a strong and sustainable enterprise payments program commensurate with the nature, size, complexity, and risk profile of the organization.
General Responsibilities:
Drive program activities to ensure milestones are met. This activity includes strategically defining priorities, project planning, status reporting, identifying risks / impediments, and proactively communicating with key partners across the lines of defense / enterprise
Draft communications for senior leaders including status updates, materials to drive decision-making, and leader talking points
Ensure implementation is being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and proactively partner with Audit
Assist with development and management of project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and on time
Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive program efforts
Demonstrated ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic and complex environment
Demonstrate exceptional communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Project Management experience in Retail, Commercial, Audit or Risk
Knowledge of Payments-industry concepts and standards
