Job Abstract

Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.

This position is responsible for the execution of daily operations for Games and Retail locations within Hersheypark.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Execute annual business plans for Retail and Games locations within Hersheypark by directly overseeing the daily operations and managing a team consisting of both Full-Time and Part-Time employees.*

• Analyze department sales and processes, making adjustments as needed to drive revenue and monitor expenses. Present opportunities such as low performing areas and propose solutions to the management team.*

• Manage the day to day budget and expenses for park Retail and Games.*

• Provide leadership to team members, ensuring standards, providing support, and encouraging the values and mission of Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. Participate actively in interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and holding team members accountable.*

• Participate actively as a member of the management team by serving as MOD, sitting on committees, and assisting with employee events.*

• Resolve customer complaints and follow up as needed to ensure resolutions address guest service expectations while upholding company standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.

• Industry Experience - Amusement Park, Retail, Other.

• Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience.

• 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a valid Drivers' License.

• Completion of high school or GED.

• Associate’s degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
