OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
Perform pressure retaining welds on standard and custom ASME vessels and piping on a routine basis in addition to advanced structural welding.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Work from shop orders, construction drawings, sketches, and or verbal information to layout, setup and operate metal working equipment such as pipe rolls, plate rolls, welding machines, sub arcs, spot welders, torches, saws etc.
Layout, Fit up, root weld and final weldments for standard pressure vessels and piping
Layout complicated designs
Instruct and assist as necessary
Perform welding operations in all positions as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles
Follow all safe working practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):
Ability to work independently on complex custom jobs with little to no supervision
Safety Training (Crane, Tow Motor, Fire, Etc)
