What you will do:
- Process domestic orders and scale all inbound and outbound loads
- Prepare documentation for outgoing shipments
- Accurately and timely complete all order and shipment documentation
- Proactively communicate with facility personnel and drivers regarding delivery schedules and order statuses
- Respond to inquiries from customers, facility personnel, drivers, and management
- Partner with production personnel to coordinate production and shipments
- Review invoices from freight vendors
What you will bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu of education
- 2 + years of office experience preferred, preferably in a customer service, domestic logistics, and/or scale operations
- Working knowledge and skills in computer typing, Microsoft software, such as Excel, Word and Outlook, including word processing, email etiquette, database and spreadsheet and internet are required
- Ability to use dispatching equipment, such as telephone (and accompanying headset) and PA systems
