Summary:
Operates radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs, and assists on a technical level during invasive procedures. Ensures that all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner.
Formal Education Required:
a. Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
b. Current license to practice the art of Radiologic Technology in the State of Ohio
c. Certification by the ARRT in Vascular Interventional Radiography a plus but not required.
Experience & Training Required:
a. Must be proficient in the performance of basic special procedures in approximately six (6) months.
