Position Overview:
Will provide financial and operational support to Mills Peninsula Medical Center. Responsible for the financial operations of the entity including but not limited to monthly close, forecasting, productivity, budgeting, performance management, monthly operations reviews, certain revenue cycle activities and capital management.
Job Description:
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Serve as an active member of the leadership team to ensure accomplishments of financial targets.
- Complete monthly close in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Prepare required financial analysis / business cases to support the decision-making process within the entity.
- Complete the annual budget and capital process for the entity including the development of the pipeline.
- Facilitate the weekly productivity management process within the facility including overtime, missed meals, contract labor, and sitter utilization.
- Lead the capital process for the facility including managing the routine capital allocation and the capital tracking system.
- Hire, train, development, and coach a highly diverse finance team.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the facility by utilizing outside benchmarking and leveraging best practice within the organization.
- Educate and train the department managers and directors about productivity and financials
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s in Business, Finance or Accounting
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Solid understanding of supply chain and revenue cycle functions.
Knowledge of budgeting / forecasting, productivity management, and operational finance.
Ability to build strong partnership with operation and key stakeholder.
Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare administration, finance, and operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a robust curiosity.
Current on the trends and issues impacting the healthcare industry including but not limited to managed care, reimbursement, regulations, and laws.

Pay Range is $92.66 to $148.26 / hour
