Job Abstract

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for yard compliance to NOV policies and procedures such as, but not limited to HSE and HR

· Responsible for yard compliance to the Tuboscope Threading Quality Manual requirements

· Part inspection and auditing of operator inspections per applicable quality system, licensing agency, or customer requirements.

· Complete inspection reports.

· Audit operators first article and inspection reports.

· Complete understanding of the inspection program.

· Complete non-conformance reports and communicate status to applicable management.

· Aid with and audit facility production paperwork as required.

Facility Specific Responsibilities:

· Maintain code 70 certification

· Manage ordering and customer authorizations for proprietary items

· Able to perform acceptance inspection on material purchased by the facility

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Previous experience with mechanical inspection preferred but not required

· Ability to solve basic math equations

· Must be able to learn and operate mechanical testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and scales.

· Blueprint reading skills are preferred but not required.
