Role Summary
The URBN Community Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering employee sentiment and retention by leading and expanding our Community Engagement initiatives at our Philadelphia Home Office. This position is responsible for organizing and executing events, supporting employee resource groups (ERGs), managing volunteer opportunities, and contributing to internal communications. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong organizational skills and a passion for building community.
Role Responsibilities
Research, pitch, and execute employee-centric events that reflect the URBN Community spirit
Attend Navy Yard Engagement Committee Meetings and bring Navy Yard-sponsored events to URBN employees
Collaborate with leadership to create VPTO (Volunteer Paid Time Off) sessions that boost morale and meet team goals
Curate a calendar of diverse volunteer opportunities that align with URBN's values
Employee Resource Groups (ERG) Administration & Liaison across brands and departments
Assist with ERG event ideation, execution, venue booking, vendor management, and communication
Manage Campus Perks & Benefits activities, such as dry cleaning, food trucks, fitness classes, and the URBN Market
Internal Communications Support

Creative thinker who can self-manage, meet deadlines, and complete tasks in timely manner
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to build relationships, collaborate and work with a variety of coworkers across multiple teams
Passionate about culture, branding, and the space in which they intersect
Ability to jump into tasks as necessary, ask questions, and be agile
Demonstrated passion for community engagement and corporate social responsibility.
