Yard Switcher responsibilities:
To move loaded and unloaded trailers in the DC's trailer yard.
To transport trailers between Amscan facilities
Perform daily yard checks for both shipping and receiving.
To help with removing snow from the tops of trailers using the snow scrapper when needed
Fueling and cleaning the tractors
Organize yard by carrier.
Maximize parking capacity.
Qualifications:
Requires self-motivation, a person who can work independently. Must be able to work well with others and take direction from team leaders/management. Work and drive trucks in a safe manner in a busy environment. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather. Excellent attendance and willingness to work overtime. Ability to adapt to a changing operation and willingness to cross train in other departments if required.
Expected Salary Range: $25.00-26.00 hourly.
The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
