Position Summary:

Responsible for issuance of production batch records from master formulas and for the maintenance and filing of all technical documents associated with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews Work Order Bulk Cover Sheets from Production Planning for the issuance of manufacturing Batch Records.

• Reviews all logbooks and protocols associated with the manufacture of Pharmavite products and ensures completeness and accuracy prior to filing.

• Tracks the receipt of and/or issuance of all technical documents associated with the manufacture of products.

• Maintains and stores technical documents to include but not limited to Master formulas, Packaging and Batch Records, Raw Materials and Analytical Records.

• Prepares and scans manufacturing Batch Records, Packaging records and OPVs for electronic archiving.

• Researches, locates, issues and/or copies technical documents as requested by internal departments.

• Maintains log of all loaned and submitted GMP documents.

• Provides back-up for other department responsibilities as assigned by department manager.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

      High school diploma or its equivalent required, college education preferred. 

Certification:

      None.

Experience:

      One to three years in a GMP environment in the CPG/Food/Pharma industry.  Prior experience in Quality preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

      Requires:

• Ability to speak, read and write English.

• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills

• Competent knowledge of technical terminology.

• Experience with data entry, processing, Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Ability to prioritize workload while meeting deadlines.

• Excellent organizational skills including document control on all assigned matters.

• Close attention to detail.

Physical Requirements: 

Office environment.  Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. required.

Environment: 

      Exposure to disagreeable elements is negligible.

Safety: 

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

Annual Pay

Annual Pay Range

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.  This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.

Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor.
