Based upon our business growth, we are looking to hire for the Roll Welder II position at our MSM – New London, OH!

Responsibilities:

Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
Performs welding processes on steel rolls using welding metals and metal alloys under minimal supervision
Works from written/verbal instructions
Adjusts machine’s temperature, speed and feed to meet the specifications desired
Welds rolls according to engineering drawings and specifications under minimal supervision
May be required to perform light manual welding
Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion

Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

High School or Equivalent
Six Months to One year of related experience
Valid Driver’s License
Crane/Forklift – In-house training provided to obtain certification
Proper use of hand tools
Proper use of Safety Equipment such as Safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and ear plugs
