Key Responsibilities: - Conduct one-on-one and group tutoring sessions for biology, microbiology, or anatomy and physiology courses. - Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic success. - Assist students in comprehending challenging concepts through engaging and interactive teaching methods. - Collaborate with faculty and fellow Learning Coaches to enhance the overall learning experience. - Provide constructive feedback to students, empowering them to overcome obstacles and thrive. - Stay informed about course content and instructional techniques to deliver effective support.
Qualifications: - Enthusiasm for biology, microbiology, or anatomy and physiology, with a solid grasp of related coursework. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Capacity to explain complex ideas clearly and accessibly. - Strong organizational and time management aptitude. - Previous tutoring or teaching experience is beneficial but not required. - Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
