As One of Our Happy Center Leaders You Will:
- Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and employees by creating an environment of trust and rapport and easily relates to diverse groups of people.
- Maintain the physical center environment and all health/safety standard operating procedures are always in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
- Ensure center is always fully staffed with high-performing teachers, maintain regulatory child-to-teacher ratios by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
- Guide our teachers by using their passion for learning to implement our proprietary curriculum and have the unique opportunity to use our engaging characters to drive the curriculum, making The Learning Experience (TLE) a fun place for children to learn, play, and grow.
- Deliver consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and business operations. Processes and maintains accounts receivable and payable, monthly P&Ls, and employee payroll.
- Effectively engages prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours and organizes and executes community marketing events to drive awareness and enrollment available.
- CUSTOMER FOCUS
· Leads tour with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference of our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc.
· Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress.
· Executes “parent pleasers”.
· Execution of our Show and Tell.
· Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students and teachers.
· Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
· Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations.
· Responsible for accident/incident reporting.
· Medication management.
· Conducts monthly emergency safety drills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 15 units in Child Development; Child, Family, & Community; ECE Program and Curriculum; Infant/Toddler Development; and Administration with four years of experience working in a licensed childcare center; or possess an AA in Child Development or ECE with two years of experience working in a licensed childcare center; or possess a BA in Child Development or ECE with one year of experience working in a licensed childcare center; or possess a Site Supervisor/Director’s Permit.
1. 8 hours of EMSA certified Preventative Health and Safety (to include lead prevention)
2. 8 hours of EMSA certified CPR/First Aid
3. Child Care Center Part II Orientation certificate
4. Criminal Record Clearance
5. Mandated Reporter Training certificate
6. Health Screening and TB
7. Immunization records (MMR, Tdap, and flu)
Must meet any applicable background screening or state licensing requirements for the role.
