Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, correct use of equipment, tooling, preventive maintenance, and safety procedures.

Meet with customers to discuss fabrication or repair details and resolve performance or schedule concerns

Supervises and trains shop employees and activities, including mechanics, fabricators, machinists, field technicians and shipping/receiving/warehouse.

Identifies work priorities, plans daily work and overtime needs. Schedules employees to meet planning needs.
\t
Work within established safety, quality and environmental standards. Serves as ISO coordinator.

Direct and coordinate effective and timely problem solving to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Maintain and efficient, clean, safe, and orderly shop environment.

Coordinates with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse/shipping/receiving operations.

Receives and maintains accurate inventory, assisting in cycle counting, maintains bin locator system, and assures goods are received, checked in and stocked in a timely manner. Ensure the accurate preparation of shipments, bills of lading, and shipping documents,
