Caregivers on our registry are independent contractors and can choose their assignments, work flexible hours based on their availability, and earn competitive market rates. Griswold Home Care of Chester and Lancaster County gives seniors the help they need to live in the place they love. If you have a heart of gold and are passionate about making a difference, we would like to talk with you! We know that excellent caregivers are our client’s greatest asset.

As an independent contractor, you may appreciate:

  • Ability to negotiate your pay based on care being provided. Our suggested rate based on market research is $18.00 per hour (hourly) $180.00 per day (live-in).
  • Choose your schedule based on your own lifestyle and preferences.
  • Choose your clients: We let you know upfront what care a client is going to need.

  • Peach Bottom
  • Lancaster
  • Quarryville
  • Willow Street
  • Conestoga
  • Millersville
  • Columbia
  • Denver

Caregiver Requirements:

  • Driver’s License (for hourly caregivers) or State ID (live-in caregivers who don’t drive)
  • Criminal Background and child abuse clearances (clean)
  • Car Insurance
  • TB Test or Chest Xray
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with caregiving
