What You Will Do:
PWACT’s Quality Department is looking for a high energy, self-starter to assume the role as the Inspection Supervisor - Cell Lead in the inspection of airfoils and combustor panels.
The position hours are an offset 1st shift with the hours being Mon - Fri 10:00AM to 7:00PM
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety of employees by driving a safety-first culture.
- Plan, direct, or coordinate quality control activities for all three shifts.
- Assist with developing quality control policies.
- Providing training to the inspection team as required.
- Set the proper balance of accuracy / compliance vs. daily business objectives.
- Communicating daily job assignments.
- Assuring daily commitments are communicated to the inspection team and components are inspected in a timely manner to meet daily schedules.
- Manage departmental vacations, overtime, payroll, performance reviews and any disciplinary activities.
- Investigate new and improved methods of inspection that can be used to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing, and process engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead the working team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

- Experience with cross-functional teams
- Inspection and/or quality assurance/compliance experience
- Troubleshooting/problem-solving ability
- Leadership by example.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
