The salary will be between $19.55 - $22.00 based on experience. This is a 3rd shift position, 9:00pm - 5:30am with overtime as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the general direction of Crew Leader and/or Manager supports all transportation activities. ?Will serve as a main point of contact and will communicate with drivers, carriers, Customer Service, Transportation Planning and SDC visitors.? Works closely with Management, Crew Leaders, and all levels of SDC staff to ensure delivery and shipment.? Anticipate and facilitate problem resolution on all shipment issues to meet or exceed customer satisfaction.?

RESPONSIBILITIES:?
Prepares domestic, hazardous, Signature Brands and export shipping documents through?SAP.? Works?with warehouse crews to resolve and correct in SAP; warehouse, delivery, or shipment issues in order to prepare and load shipments.?? Coordinate with Distribution Coordinator to troubleshoot future shipments and deliveries and prioritize workload.? Communicate with carriers and drivers.? Ensure that all shipments have shipped daily, monthly and quarterly within SOX compliance guidelines.? Create outbound Will Call shipments upon contact by carriers.? Update multiple shipment schedules.? Email schedules and end of day updates.?? Correct shipment or carrier problems if possible.? If not possible, create a temporary solution that can be fully resolved the next day.?? Manages and posts inbound schedule.? Makes changes as needed.? Answers carrier inquiries regarding drivers, appointments, directions, or equipment needs.? Interacts with both inbound and outbound drivers.? Works with Customer Service, Transportation Planning, Crew Leaders, and/or Carrier Management when requested to help resolve issues or answer questions.? Troubleshoot hazardous shipping discrepancies by querying SAP for hazardous information, then identify and correct any potential hazardous material shipping issues.? Backup to run LMS reports and run month-end reports as needed.?? Other projects and duties as assigned.?

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:?
- 3 years previous Transportation experience?
- Excellent English written, verbal communication skills?
- Proficiency in comparable ERP system, prefer SAP?
- High School diploma or (GED), some college preferred?
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel/Word?
