Job Summary

Teachers are the heart of Geyserville Schools. Our 6th-12th grade school uses a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach to engage students in Common Core-based curriculum, promoting critical thinking, creativity, and real-world problem solving. We maintain positive school culture through Restorative Practices, which focus on building strong, respectful relationships and community accountability. The ELA teacher at GNTA should be committed to culturally responsive teaching practices and adept at supporting multilingual learners. As a “learning facilitator,” they should be dedicated to establishing a strong relational connection with our learners, through which they can engage students in mastering challenging academic language, literature, and ideas that grow their skills and worldviews.
