Essential Duties
• Teach assigned course(s). • Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives. • Provide timely grading and feedback to students. • Provide guidance and support to students.
Required Qualifications
Master’s or PhD degree in a biology, anatomy, physiology or related field. A Master’s or terminal degree in related degree in a field related to anatomy/physiology (MD, DO, DPt, etc) will also be considered.
Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or desire for teaching biology and/or anatomy and physiology courses, particularly at the college-level.
Knowledge or experience teaching anatomy and physiology laboratory courses.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
The job requires the ability to teach lecture or lab sections of A&P.
The job requires movement around the classroom or laboratory, and possibly lifting heavy objects such as anatomy models.
It may be necessary for the position to teach an evening class of A&P.
