It’s an exciting time to join IFF as our Commercial Strategy and Pipeline Manager supporting our North America Flavors & Ingredients business. In this role, you understand how our customers see us and who we need to become to elevate our market position. You will report directly to the North America Portfolio Management Leader and will be based in South Brunswick, NJ. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional strategic initiatives, reinforcing commercial excellence best practices, and crafting internal communications. You have a proven track-record in leading rapid, data-driven, and practical strategies to accelerate revenue and profit. You are results-oriented, self-directed, inquisitive, and act as an owner. You dig into the detail and can juggle multiple priorities and tight deadlines. You know how to break down processes into logical parts and construct crystal-clear reasoning, analyses, and ways of working. You have strong communication and people skills and have learned how to appreciate diverse perspectives and bring out the best in organizations. This role is a key enabler of driving the organization towards realizing its bold growth ambitions and will require a strategic thinker that is adept at aligning a matrix organization against objectives that drive measurable growth outcomes.
Job Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy- Proactively identifies sales/profitability enhancement opportunities, special market /customer segments or profitability/cost containment activities initiatives by analyzing competitive landscape as well as strategically networking with other functions.
Customer Segmentation - Define customers, service levels, and channels to target
Pipeline Analysis – collaborate with analyst to conduct pipeline reviews sharing insights and recommendations to Regional Commercial Leadership Team
Commercial Excellence – Educate, Communicate and Reinforce best practices and ways of working
Communication – Lead communication campaigns including -new launches, success stories, and margin improvement initiatives.
Develop appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support our strategic vision.
Long Description
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 5-10 years of Experience in Flavor, Food ingredient, FMCG or other adjacent industry with proven track record. Degreed in Food Science/ Food engineering / Chemistry desired
MBA preferred
Able to learn/ understand IFF innovation/ technology and position them as competitive advantage
High level of learning agility and commitment
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
Demonstrate leadership potential, cultural agility and emotional maturity
Able to work effectively under global matrix structure with various stakeholders
Fluent in English
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
